The Widows Bond Vision Award is presented to an individual whose visionary work has positively impacted the widowed community. The Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation proudly presents the 2009 Widows Bond Vision Award to Laurie-Ann Weis. Laurie-Ann began serving widows at a time when networking opportunities were few and far between. Her willingness to share her own widowhood journey endeared her to many women who were seeking hope in the aftermath of the loss of their spouse. By providing them with the assurance that finding joy again was indeed possible, Laurie-Ann continues to feed the souls and spirits of widows all over the world. Her message of rediscovering joy has reached widowed people in the US, England, Scotland, Australia, Canada, Ireland and Singapore. We applaud her courage, her determination, and her dedicated service to widows. Thank you Laurie-Ann for all you have done to support, to challenge, and to hold up the grieving people who come to you looking for a ray of hope.
